Here's Vivian napping on her dad's chest, during Friday's snow day, which was like a holiday God threw for her 16-month birthday. Click to see more pictures.
The other day I was telling her grandparents about her new words: "bottle, and apple, and clap..."
"Caap!" exclaimed Vivian, and clapped. Her whole face lit up when she realized not only did she know the word, she could prove it.
"That's right," said her grandmother. "Clap!" And grandma clapped.
"Caap!" said Vivi, and everyone clapped. She looked around, stunned, like: "wow, look what I can make them do." "Caap!" she said, and gestured imperiously, then lead us all in round of applause.
