Learning to walk, my daughter grows lighter

Learning to walk, my daughter grows lighter
Confident now; on the end of one hand
her little weight pulses like wings.
Every day, she grows further from me.
When I lie down, she leans at my hip.
She can pace my length without waking me.
As one day, God hear me, she will.

It does go by so fast. Our eldest entered University this week. Peace to you, James and your light, little one.
