There's something nice, occasionally, about having a slow dial-up modem .. your pictures started as bright, golden blurs and pulled themselves, stepwise, into focus ... like Vivian, they were worth waiting for ..

My congratulations to you!! I just hear from Marguerite about Vivian. The news, of course, brought me to your & James' blogs, which I always find interesting and moving. I love the pictures, too. Young Vivian has a great deal going for her!
You probably won't pick this up for some time, but congratulations! Vivien is a beauty. Huge smiles over here. Sleep whenever she sleeps, that's the only advice I can give, oh, and accept every single offer of help and smile graciously. It gives the helper as much pleasure to help as it gives you respite!
