My two poetry books were just reviewed in America, a national Catholic (mostly Jesuit) weekly magazine. It's my first review in a national publication. And it's a good audience for me, especially with regard to the book of biblical poetry, Seal up the Thunder. Oh, I'm happy!
The reviews can be read online in their entirety, but this bit is my favourite:
Seal up the Thunder shows us how to probe the Scriptures, how to prayerfully and imaginatively steep our own experience and our own milieu in the inspired text so as to get our own proper sense from the sense of Scripture.
Jesuitical high praise, that. (That is, high praise once you get it parsed.)

Erin--excellent review! I like that he reviewed both books and showed the range and reach of them.
