I was reading the Malahat Review this weekend, and noticed that they have published both a new translation of an Ovid poem (one of the same ones I've tried, actually: Amores 1:V), and a review of a book of Catullus translations. Here I thought my sudden impluse to translate Catullus and comrades was completely out to lunch -- and maybe it is. But it looks as if it's a lunch party. Who knew?
