Today I'm reading to a 100-level University English class who have (allegedly) read my book. Yikes. Now I have to know "what the poems mean."

Went okay, though it was a new experience for me. Only a couple of students clearly hadn't read it and were trying to compensate, and only one wanted to pick out the stitches in every poem -- and she was okay. Insightful. Mostly an intentive, informed audience.
