Radiation Dream

The basement of the hospital is linoleum and smells of linoleum cleaner and wax and dissected frogs. I am a technician treating children with radiation. I must push two hard cylinder buttons, like buttons on an old blender. I must press them and keep them down to deliver the radiation. This causes an arch of electric pain, hand to lungs to hand, but I must keep them down so I do.

In a storage closet where I go sometimes to collect my wits, I find a dusty box of blue glass insulator from telegraph poles.

When I look out into the corridor, loping wolves.

It's that blue glass again. Where does it come from, over and over?

Another scary one. At least in the telling.

Blue on Green. Makes for a great jazz album of years gone by but not for a day as temp help. What an experience.

thrive!,
