So, what's wrong with your church?

Remember that advent wreath I wrote about a few weeks ago?

Today at mass the advent wreath caught fire someplace in the middle of the liturgy of the eucharist. We all pretended to contemplate the miracle of transubstantiation while an usher beat it to death with his coat.

This is what's wrong with Catholicism in a nutshell.

Here's what's wrong with fundamentalism, (from Resurgere) and what's wrong with Protestantism (from Onionboy). Help us complete the set?

I'd like to know the Jewish take on this, but I don't suppose they have Advent wreathes...

Resurgere - No they don't have Advent wreaths but they do light the candles on a menorah during Chanukah and I suppose those seven (?) candles could set something on fire! I understand that during Chanukah Jews are supposed to be "ever mindful of the needs of others."
