How to Get Ghost Maps

A couple of people have asked, so, here's how to get copies of Ghost Maps.

From me
I have ordered a few copies myself, and will be selling them here. They should be in by the end of the week. I will be setting up a paypal account so that I can process credit card orders. Or you can send me an old fashioned cheque; write to me for a mailing address. If you order it from me, I can sign it. The book retails for $15 CDN; I figure $16 CDN, or $12 US, ought to about cover shipping.

Bookstores
The book just came off the presses last Friday, and is still wending its way to a bookstore near you. If, that is, you live near a good independent bookstore in Canada. (It will be available in Chapters, too, though of course Chapters is evil.) In the US, you might have to order it.

Online
Likewise, the book will hit the electronic shelves shortly. It is listed at chapters/indigo, at amazon.com (in the US) and at amazon.ca (in Canada.) Someday it will be up at the League of Canadian Poets' bookstore, too.

Special Order
If you want to support your local independent bookseller and order through them, here's some information that might be helpful. The book is called Ghost Maps: Poems for Carl Hruska. It's published by Wolsak and Wynn, and distributed by the Literary Press Group of Canada (lpg). If you want to support my local independent bookseller, here they are. They are always happy to help.

So, who can I sign up for a copy?

Normally I'd say sign me up, but you say "few copies", so I'll
see what I can do for ordering it myself. However, the sad thing is that I don't know of ANY nice independent bookstores in my county (we have looked). I'll get our copies signed when I see you next. Happy happy book selling!

25 copies, actually. It was about all I could afford....

I would like one and mom would like one please. US check will be in the mail this week. I'll get the copies for MHS and Omaha Public Library from the local independent bookstore. Do you know if it is "library bound"? I'm sure they'll take it even if it's not....

Congratulations! You are a great poet, and I know there are many more books yet to come!

We'll contact Wordsworth Books--I like to give them my business, such as it is.--P
