National Poetry Month!

So, April is poetry month. Some of the things I hope to catch this month here in KW and area:

Words Worth is having a poetry reading on April 12. In particular, I'm looking forward to Alison Pick.

On April 24, as a benefit for the Community Literacy Foundation, and to celebrate Canada Book Day, the New Quarterly is throwing its annual readers' festival: readers reading from their favourite books. This is at the KPL main branch, downstairs in the theatre. Tickets are $10 at the door, or you can contact me about them.

On April 25, I am reading poetry in the lounge at KPL (by the magazines). Free and family-friendly.
